Zomercarnaval in Rotterdam

Saturday, July 28: Zomercarnaval in Rotterdam. About 2000 people celebrated their party in a big parade, 2.6 kilometres long. About 900000 people watched the parade (who did count that?). Again, the weather was fine, as always, which IS a miracle, since it has been raining a lot these days... Let's get loud? They sure did!

Yesterday I found out about the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs EP called "IS IS". Bizzy Lizzy did download some tracks, but I did not have the time to listen to them as of yet. Hope to be able to do so soon! And no one knows who they are.... check them out at http://www.residents.com/. This blog is maintained by Big Brother. He's pretty close to the fire, so most of the things he's saying are probably true!

A new album will be released this year, and hopefully the Residents will decide to go on tour again. I have seen them performing seven times (Wormwood (1), Icky Flix (2) and Demons Dance Alone (4)). If I want to stick to this algorithm, I have to become their manager or roadie or something... :-)
